ULANET CAPSULE TYPE MINIATURE ADJUSTABLE BIMETAL THERMOSTATS are designed and built to provide fast response and accurate control. The fixed end of the bimetal is firmly fastened between two prongs of a bifurcated stud which is composite with the thermostat terminal. Therefore, rapid heat transfer to the bimetal is effected. The working parts are housed in a high strength steatite ceramic tube. The fine thread adjustment screw facilitates calibration. Ulanet Miniature Capsule thermostats have been specified by prominent manufacturers in myriad applications in which quality and reliability are most stringent; gyros, quartz crystal ovens for radio transmission frequency control, battery packs, etc. Available in temperature ranges up to 500°F.

MODEL 330


Is provided with a mounting strap insulated from the current carrying parts to facilitate its mounting to a surface that is to be temperature controlled. Two holes at 9/16" centers accommodate #4-36 screws. Three element strain relief construction protects the bimetal from calibration drift. The unit is housed in rugged steatite ceramic that provides dielectric strength at elevated temperatures. The fine thread adjustment screw permits precise setting. The bottom of the unit is open which allows a rapid response to temperature changes. Available in temperature ranges up to 550°F. maximum.

MODEL 362



Is particularly suited for sensing surface temperatures. The bottom of the housing is open. This miniature thermostat, having the same steatite housing as the MODEL 330, is a two element unit with a current carrying bimetal. The terminals fit miniature 3/16" quick-connect terminals. The MODEL 330 mounting strap can be provided as an option. The fine thread adjustment screw facilitates calibration. Available in temperature ranges up to 550°F. maximum.

MODEL 363

Is identical in construction to the MODEL 362 except that its dimensions are approximately 1/5 smaller, as indicated. Available in temperature ranges up to 550°F.

MODEL 220A


Is dust tight and structurally rugged although it weighs less than 1/10 ounce. Because of its light mass, the MODEL 220A has a rapid response to temperature change with an exceedingly small temperature differential. Crimp type terminals save wiring time. The fine thread adjustment screw permits accurate calibration. Since the housing is not insulated from the terminals, the MODEL 220A is normally encapsulated in sleeving or in shrink tubing with lead wires attached. Available in temperature ranges to 225°F. maximum.

U TYPE

Is a two element construction in which the bimetal and the adjustment screw terminal are securely rivetted to a phenolic base. This assembly is pressed into a sturdy U shaped, nickel plated steel housing. Solder terminals are made of brass. Available in temperature ranges up to 225°F. maximum.

MODEL PC

Is of a two element construction in which the bimetal and the adjustment screw terminals are assembled to a rugged steatite ceramic base. The edges of the base are radiused to fit into a tube with 1/2" inside diameter. A precision fine thread self-locking adjustment screw facilitates calibration. Available for temperatures up to 300°F. maximum.
