These hermetically sealed thermostats can be supplied in temperature ranges up to 400 degrees F. with either normally closed or normally open contacts. The temperature differential is nominally 1 degree F.

MODEL 28


Is designed for rapid response to changes in surface temperature. The bimetal is mounted in intimate contact with a copper base providing optimum heat transfer. Satisfies military environmental specifications in many critical applications. Gold plating inhibits oxidation of the sensing surface. The adjustment screw is solder sealed in factory calibration. Mounting is with #4 screws for 2 holes at 1.031" centers. Weight is .216 oz. U.S. Patent No. 2.991.341. Supplied with a tin finish as the MODEL 28NP which has its adjustment screw glyptal or solder sealed.

MODEL 219


Has identical construction to the model 28 with exception of the copper right angle mounting bracket This bracket reduces the mounting height by 7/32" without sacrificing the rapid thermal response of the Model 28. Gold plating is standard Provided with 4 mounting holes having .125" diameters and 1.000" centers. Weight is .264 oz. Designated as the MODEL 219NP with a tin finish.

MODEL 237


Has identical construction to the Model 28 except that the copper mounting base is circular. Gold plating is standard. Provided with 2 mounting holes with 7/64" diameters and .578" centers. Designated as the MODEL 237NP with a tin finish.

MODEL 32

Has internal construction similar to the Model 28 except that its 3-element construction switch is mounted on a common terminal post. Supplied with either a gold or tin finish.

MODEL 374


Has a stainless steel tubular probe for immersion applications. Its 3-element switch construction is identical to the Model 28. Tin finish is standard. Supplied with a standard 1/8" NPT stainless steel fitting. The probe is 1/4" diameter by 1-11/16" long.

MODEL 440

Operates on the principle of thermal differential expansion between two dissimilar metals. The stainless steel thermal probe is 1/4" diameter by 1-23/32" long. It is supplied with 1/8" NPT or a 7/16"-20 UNF stainless steel fitting. Contact arrangement is normally closed only. Designed for critical military and aerospace applications. Tin finish is standard.

MODEL 184A


Has a bimetal element securely fastened to a solder type terminal support sealed in a compression type header. Ground terminal lug speeds soldering of lead wire. MODEL 284


Has both hermetically sealed glass terminals insulated from the housing. The bifurcated stud assembly insures a rigid anchorage of the elements and speeds heat transfer from the exposed terminal to the bimetal Both heads are mechanically crimped into the housing before sealing to eliminate dependence upon solder for its mechanical structure. Gold plating is standard. With factory calibration, adjustment screw is solder sealed. Weight is .175 oz.
