EQUIPPED WITH PILOT LIGHT, 6' 3-WIRE GROUNDED CORDSET, AND THERMOSTAT CONTROL ADJUSTABLE EITHER 70°-250°F, OR 120°-570°F.

Design permits hanging over edge of vessel. Heating elements are contained in coil section to concentrate heat at the bottom of the vessel. Risers are unheated. Units are ideal for heating suitable liquids in laboratory and industrial use. Requires a liquid level of 5" minimum above the bottom heating coil. The Models 492/290 have a maximum clearance of 1-1/2" between the control box and the heater riser.

Heating element sheath is polished Type 316 stainless steel.
